The Bi Tong Line is 37.5 kilometers long and has 9 stations. It starts from Tongliang West Station, passes through Tongliang Longcheng Tianjie Station, Kechuang New Town Station, Qinglong Station, Dalu Station, Qinglong Lake Station, Hekan Station and Bi Cheng Station, and ends at Bishan Station. The Bi Tong Line will transfer with Metro Line 1 at Bishan Station and will be connected with Metro Line 27 in the future. The designed speed of the Bi Copper Line is 140 kilometers per hour, and the trains use 25kV AC system urban rail express vehicles.

The Bi Tong Line is not only the first operational rail line in Chongqing with a maximum speed of 140 kilometers per hour, but also a demonstration line for the integration of high-speed rail, urban rail and metro in Chongqing.
